    Description

    This battery pack uses only 8 replaceable alkaline D cells to operate all tube model Trans-Oceanics. This includes the G500, H500, the complete 600 series, 7G605, and 8G005.  It will also operate Zenith Universals 5G601, 6G001, 6G004, 6G501, 6G505, 6G601, 6G605, and 5G500R. There is also an output for the dial light on the 600 series. Other receiver brands include the Hallicrafters TW-1000 and TW-2000, RCA 3BX671 and 3BX672, and Stromberg Carlson AWP-8. Battery life of replaceable D cells is about 70 to 75 hours of normal use depending on receiver type and condition. Rechargeable cells may also be used.
