VINTAGE NORDMENDE ELEKTRA C TUBE SHORTWAVE RADIO

We're offering for auction this vintage Nordmende Model C Electra Short Wave Tube Radio that we recently acquired from a private collection. This unit was manufactured in Germany and the wood cabinet is in beautiful condition. When measured at the base, the cabinet measures approximately 16" wide, 9.5" tall, and 7" from front to back. I plugged in the unit and was able to get a few radio stations but unable to pick up any shortwave stations and only got static. It may have needed a better and longer exterior antenna wire. All the knobs and push buttons look okay. As I know very little about short wave radios or how to grade them, I'm selling this one as is just as you see it and buyer must make own determinations as to vintage, condition, etc. This is a highly collectible unit so don't miss this opportunity to own it!
