Vintage 1953 Zenith Trans Oceanic Portable Battery Shortwave/AM Tube Radio H500

Description

Zenith H500 Trans Oceanic Shortwave radio. From estate. Appears to have been professionally restored.  The case looks like it has been re-covered in a synthetic leather. Most everything is clean and like new.  One of the feet on the bottom is missing.
The radio has a xerox user manual and a battery log completed regularly.  (see pic)  There is a tag that says something about being set up for battery use only, so I only tested it with battery power.  (batteries included)  I was able to receive AM loud and clear.  All buttons that I am familiar with (bass, treble, volume, tuning etc.) worked flawlessly.  I did not test it on AC, not knowing how to change it over.  Tag on inside says mfg of 1953.  Antenna extends normally.
