THEATER D-GUARD KNIFE and CUSTOM SHEATH

Absolutely fantastic custom d-guard theater knife and sheath. Looks to be from WWII or could be later.
The blade is 7 7/8"" long, and the OAL is 13 5/8".
Full tang Bowie style stainless steel blade, and heavy duty brass d-guard is 1 3/16" at its widest point.
The blade has been only very slightly used, has no nicks or dings and is full and sharp.
The two piece finger grip wood handle is secured with steel pins, and is sealed with lacquer.
The handle is tight and shows very little use.
The tang ends in a curved thong hole with leather thong.
The riveted sheath is heavy duty leather with a 3 1/2" belt loop and thong.
Shows very little use, and sheath leather and thong are still supple and not at all dry.
This rig is unique and took a great deal of skill to produce.
