Safety Wings:
Safety Wings encompass the release point of pitchers creating a safe throwing environment. The pitcher is surrounded by 3 sides of netting at “release point” and every pitch will enter the wide tunnel opening. Onlookers, media, coaches and teammates can be sure that there will be no injury due to wild pitches or errant throws. The Safety Wings ensure safety and promote a more fun and safe pitching session.
Ball Holder:
Ball holder holds 5 dozen baseballs and is conveniently located for the pitcher to comfortably grab another without bending over. Ballholder also doubles as a pocket holding keys, cell phones, and other valuables for convenience. A Mesh Ball Bag is located inside the Ballholder. One mesh ball bag comes FREE with the purchase of every boys Pitching Tunnel and can hold 60+ baseballs (5 dozen). When the pitcher runs out of baseballs, he simply removes the Mesh Ball Bag and retrieves the baseballs from the Strike Zone end of the tunnel.
The STRIKE ZONE is comprised of the Target, Catch Net, & Backdoor.
Target:
Accurate pitches slam our brightly colored Target inducing a loud thump! The Target catches the pitched balls and releases them downward into the Catch Net. The 9 squares distinguish strikes vs balls allowing coaching and learning to engage in endless practice scenarious and scorekeeping. Our Targets are made of 20 oz. thick vinyl and built to withstand continuous usage.
Catch Net:
The Catch Net is reinforced with #42 Heavy Duty Knotted Polyester for maximum durability and performance. All pitched balls are corralled and funnelled into the Catch Net. Once a pitched ball enters the tunnel, it’s momentum takes it towards the Catch Net and does not come out unless retrieved by the user through the Back Door. This allows for a more efficient, safer practice environment.
Back Door:
The Back Door opens fully to allow access to the Strike Zone. Balls can be retrieved and the user can also enter and exit through the Back Door in order to attach the EZ Snap Target.
