    Rare! Westinghouse Portable Vintage Tube Radio AM H-558P4
    MCM Mid Century Modern
    Circa 1957.
    Westinghouse made a number of portable tube radios in the 50's, and this is an elegantly styled example from 1957.
    This Model H558P4 was obviously treated with great care over the decades.
    It's a 4 tube portable that uses low voltage tubes that will operate on either AC power, or by the use of special batteries that were available years ago.(Batteries like that are not longer available to purchase)
    Dominant feature is that flashy gold grille and carrying handle that folds down when not in use.
    Controls are simple thumbwheels for Volume and Tuning. .
